Revisionist Western drama
The Coen brothers follow the story of a feisty teenage farm girl who, after an outlaw murders her father, hires a US Marshall to accompany her and bring the killer to justice while a Texas ranger joins them in their bickering quest as he is also tracking the fugitive for his own reasons. Coen brothers reconstruct the western genre with a new adaptation of an established novel with their own spin and humor, using stunning cinematography, an emotional score and great performances .
