ABOUT ME
Hi! I’m Henry Corzo
I am reviewing films
I was born and raised in South America, in a beautiful country called Colombia. After completing my civil engineering degree, I decided to adventure to new lands and moved to the U.S.

I work in engineering project controls for a major agency
but a few years ago I decided to go back to school for Cinematography, Directing and Scriptwriting.
When I completed my program I shot a Short Film, “Seminarista”, about a Colombian seminarian that struggles to choose between his faith and his sexuality after a steamy encounter with another guy during a trip to the US. The film ended up with several nominations to film festivals and a cult following online with over 1.5 million views .

I tried following up the success of “Seminarista” with the web series “Maery Queens” which tells the story of a set of diverse gay friendships that are put to the test in a whodunit setting. The lighter dramedy had mixed results but couldn’t live up to the relative popularity of its predecessor.

I’m determined to shoot my first feature soon, which I hope is as engaging and inspiring to an LGBT audience as my first short film. Hopefully with a few months of additional work and maybe some your feedback I can make that happen.

In the meantime I decided to compile a list of the All-time Best Films and study them to get some inspiration and I'm sharing my findings on this page.
