Witness for the Prosecution

Billy Wilder follows the story of an ailing barrister who after deciding to defend a man accused of murdering a wealthy woman has to deal with his calculating wife, the only alibi, agreeing to be a witness for the prosecution instead.
Wilder adapts a play by Agatha Christie into a twist-ridden theatrical courtroom drama aided by notable performances.
