The Apartment

Billy Wilder tells the story of an insurance clerk that lends his apartment to his corporate bosses for extramarital affairs in hopes of promotion until he finds out that the girl he is interested in is involved in one of the affairs making him decide between love or advancement in his career.
Wilder pays attention to details balancing comedy drama and romance on a satirical film that comments on 50’s corporate culture , misogynism and unconstrained ambition.
It won 5 Academy Awards and was nominated for another 5
