Director David Lynch follows an aspiring actress newly arrived in Los Angeles who after discovering an amnesiac woman taking refuge from a car accident in her aunt’s apartment decides to help her solving the mystery of her forgotten identity. Lynch creates an abstract nightmarish mystery film exploring memory and identity in an allegory to the dark corners of Hollywood .
