Nolan follows a man with short-term memory loss who hunts the man who raped and murdered his wife creating a strange system to help him remember things.
Nolan creates an interesting puzzle using backward storytelling that explore existential questions about personal identity but it may be at times confusing.

It was nominated for 2 Academy Awards.
