Wolfgang Reitherman

He was a prominent director at Disney studios and became a strong leader during the transitionary period of the 1960’s and 1970’s which saw the death of Walt Disney. He brought vitality and quality to animated classics using his knowledge of staging suspense and entertainment with great range and versatility.
He was nominated for an Academy Award as a producer of an animated short.
Three of his films made it to our All-Time Best Films list.
