He worked at Disney studios responsible for the distinctive style of their earliest animated cartoons co-designing the iconic character of Mickey Mouse. He later moved on to work on special effects for which he got an Academy Award in Hitchcock’s film The Birds. and another 2 Academy Awards for Technical Achievements .
One of his short films made it to our All-Time Best Films list.
