Romantic Comedy Film

Director George Cukor follows the story of a socialite whose wedding plans are complicated by the simultaneous arrival of her ex-husband and a tabloid magazine journalist making her reevaluate the truth about herself. Cukor creates a sophisticated witty comedy about re-marriage directed with artistry with outstanding performances from its trio of stars that also works as a social satire poking fun at all sides in the class war however it may feel superficial and a little dated sometimes .
It won 2 Academy Awards and it was nominated for another 4
