Gaslight

Director George Cukor follows the story of a young opera student who, after returning home with her new husband to the house her aunt was murdered years back, is manipulated to believe she is descending into insanity while her husband’s intentions come into question. Cukor re-creates a famous play and British film with his own version of a suspenseful thriller providing a claustrophobic atmosphere depicting themes of psychological torture with subtle clues .
