A pioneer of the American animation industry he set up Disney studios producing some of the most iconic animation films in history.
He holds a record for winning 22 Academy Awards for the production of short films and documentaries while being nominated for another 37. He also has 3 Honorary Academy awards.
One of the short films the he personally directed where he introduced his iconic character Mickey Mouse made it to our All-Time Best Films list.
