Joss Whedon

After years of developing successful television series and earning screenwriting credits in Oscar nominated films Whedon had the opportunity to write and direct the blockbuster film The Avengers that would cement the Marvel Cinematic Universe into a successful franchise for years to come. His themes usually involve strong women, self-aware dialogue, deconstruction and reconstruction of cliches and moral icons , however he is also been surrounded by controversy about his poisoned work environment.
