Action Adventure Sci-fi Superhero Film
Director Jon Favreau follows the story of a billionaire master engineer who, after being kidnapped by terrorists, builds an armored suit to upend his captors which he refines later to fight crime and evil. Favreau adapted the Marvel comic character Iron Man to create a sturdy foundation for a franchise powered by Robert Downey's charisma and state-of-the-art visuals.
